Summary: McGraw Hill Employees FCU directly serves the 15,000 employees of McGraw Hill worldwide, as well as several other member businesses. Their new main office features a state of the art banking facility in an employee-friendly environment, including a small gym, outdoor lunch facilities and a lounge.
Challenge: All township and local authorities have their own, often unique permit and zoning requirements. It is incumbent upon the client and contractor to work within these regulations. Hightstown Township is extremely thorough and rigid when considering new construction. PWCampbell needed to be diligent to meet McGraw Hill’s needs, while working within the confines of the local regulations to obtain the necessary approvals.
Solution: In a strict regulatory environment, it helps to have a design/build firm experienced in working with local permitting and zoning officials. PWCampbell's staff devoted countless hours to educate themselves on the specific local requirements to remain aware of all the options. Their dedication to meeting the requests of the client never wavered as they spoke at local planning board meetings, ultimately obtaining permission to build the facility that McGraw Hill envisioned.
