Jozef Petrak Earns Architecture Licensure

Pittsburgh, PA, July 17, 2024 – PWCampbell, a leading provider of design-build services, branded environments, and technology solutions for financial institutions, is pleased to announce Jozef Petrak, RA, AIA, NCARB passed the Architect Registration Examination (ARE) to become a registered architect in the state of Pennsylvania. Petrak is Director, Design with PWCampbell’s design arm Studio 109 Designs.

The ARE is a set of six rigorous exams covering all aspects of the practice of architecture. Petrak also completed certification from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards which facilitates licensing reciprocity in other states.

In addition to passing the ARE exams, an architect must complete coursework through an accredited architecture program and serve three and a half years in an architectural residency.

Petrak earned his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Pittsburgh and a Master of Architecture degree at California Polytechnic State University. He also teaches architecture at the University of Pittsburgh.
